Velvet is an indie-alt band from Calgary, AB, formed in 2023. Our guitarist, Aiden Evangelista, drives our writing process, with his creative style and inspiration to shape our songs. Together with Lola Tipouikidis on bass, Finley O'Reilly on vocals, Laine Jeffery on drums, and Andrew Michalchuk on keys, we make music that holds significance to us, hoping they resonate and become meaningful to you too. Since releasing our debut album Mournings in 2024, our band has gained momentum with a feature on CKUA Radio and a local radio interview sharing their creative process.
